Take a walk on The Riverwalk

Downtown Milwaukee has experienced an impressive facelift and renewed interest in once-derelict buildings since the 1996 opening of the city's $12 million RiverWalk project.

The Riverwalk is one the coolest places to hang, stroll or just chill.

It makes the Milwaukee River accessible through a series of attractive and inviting walks, promenades and pedestrian bridges. Lined with

several restaurants, nightclubs and other attractions the Riverwalk has also attracted a significant amount of public art, office, retail, entertainment and residential development. Many of the new office and retail tenants are businesses moving in from suburban locations.

The Riverwalk is a true jewel in downtown. It's waiting for ya and ready to welcome you to Milwaukee.
