Shop, drop and roll on Downer Ave.

Milwaukee's Downer Avenue features an eclectic mix of shopping, eating, movie going and coffee drinking. From one of the city's finest bookshops (Schwartz Bookshops) to the historic Downer Theatre, the street is lined with benches and cool places to hang out.

Your parents might call Downer hip, but you'll see it as cool. Cool as in custard from Lixx, fresh iced tea from Gil's Café, chilled lattes from Starbucks, the latest clothing and shoes from Footgear and the finest groceries from Sendik's. These are just a few of the shops on this very fashionable strip.

A trip to Downer Ave. is a quick escape from studying and it's only minutes from any area campus.
