Go clubbing, even if under 21

If you're not old enough to legally drink, there are a several places around town where you can go for late-night fun.

Mad Planet, located at 533 E. Center St., attracts large crowds on Saturday nights aided by a DJ who plays industrial and techno that you can dance to. No alcohol is served, and all ages are welcome. Mad Planet is a favorite for those who like their music and clothes a little on the dark side. Call 263-4555 for more information.

The Globe East is one of the most popular places in Milwaukee for live, local music. It is small but they pack them in and the crowd is diverse. Shows are often for all ages, but you never know so you have to call (276-2233) ahead. You can find this Milwaukee hot spot at 2028 E. North Ave.

On Thursday nights, the ultra-hip Tom Tom Club, 618 N. Broadway, is open to those 18 and older. Proper dress is required. Call (414) 291-5555 for more information.
